The current questionnaire is part of the research carried out within the frame of the project “REVERT: REsilience without ViolencE, Resistance without haTe in Public transport” funded by the European Union's "Rights, Equality & Citizenship (2014-2020)" program. The project is implemented by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in collaboration with the Public Transport Organization (OASA), Syneirmos NGO, CMT PROOPTIKI Consulting Management Training and Almasar NGO.
The aim of the project is to create conditions for a harmonious and friendly environment within the means public transport, promoting tolerance through resilience and resistance to hatred and violence, developing and implementing an innovative model for preventing and combating racism in public transport.
Aiming to raise awareness and mobilize passengers of public transport, the campaign “There is no place for racism here” encourages all of us – witnesses and victims of racist incidents – to speak up, react and declare our determination to combat all forms of racism and violence, by reporting racist incidents occurring in buses and trolley buses, since the need of reporting such incidents to the competent authorities is considered a necessity so as to effectively deal with the phenomenon and take relevant measures or actions.
This research is fully compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The results of the statistical analysis will be used only for evaluation purposes, which concern groups of participants and not individuals. The results will be anonymous and confidential.
